پی ٹی آئی رہنما شفقت محمود نے فخریہ ٹویٹ کرتے ہوئے لکھا کہ وہ اپنے دوست کے گھر گئے اور انہیں اس وقت خوشگوار حیرت ہوئی جب دوست کے گھریلو ملازمین پی ٹی آئی کے لاہور جلسے کیلئے کوئی 100 روپے اور کوئی 500 روپے کا چندہ لے آیا۔ شفقت محمود نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے چندہ لے لیا اور ان کو باقاعدہ رسید کاٹ کر دی۔ شفقت محمود نے مزید لکھا کہ یہ عمران خان اور پی ٹی آئی کی لوگوں میں مقبولیت کی علامت ہے۔
