Kamran Khan's tweet on six IHC judges' letter to Supreme Judicial Council

اسلام آباد ہائی کورٹ کے 6 ججز کے سپریم جوڈیشل کونسل کو خط پر کامران خان نے ٹویٹ کرتے ہوئے لکھا

This is absolutely stunning. Even the checkered judicial history of Pakistan hasn't witnessed anything more shocking than this extraordinary complaint from the six Islamabad High Court judges to the Supreme Judicial Council and the judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. All eyes on the Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Essa.
In a letter to the SJC, six judges stated:
•This matter has arisen in the aftermath of Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui's judgment, where Justice Siddiqui was removed after he alleged that the Director-General of ISI, Faiz Hameed, was interfering in the constitution of benches at IHC.
•We support Justice Siddiqui's assertion that his allegations should be probed into.
•We also note that the Code of Conduct for Judges does not prescribe anything regarding how judges should react to interference and intimidation in the independence of the judiciary.
•A judicial convention should be convened to consider the matter of interference by intelligence agencies in judicial matters.
•The letter was sent to the SJC, as well as to all judges of the Supreme Court.
