Lahore: In a letter, allegedly issued by Maulana Ismatullah Muaviya, has warned the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) for being played in the hands of army.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Punjab has issued the letter on a nicely designed writing pad dated 12.8.2013, Monday.
The letter read as: “Secret agencies are trying to involve PML-N in this war. Death penalties for our prisoners will be considered as the declaration of war from the government.”
The letter further warned government that if they get involved then we will make PML-N an example like ANP.
“PML-N must remember the example of Awami National Party (ANP). Army used ANP and when time comes they hide behind an other political power,” letter read further.
According to the letter, drone attack on Taliban commander Wali-ur-Rehman was an attempt to sabotage peace process between PML-N and Taliban. “The drone attack on Maulana Wali-ur-Rehman was an attempt to sabotage peace initiatives taken by PML-N and some other political parties. This attack was designed by US and its favorite Generals.”
“Death sentences to (Taliban) prisoners is the second attempt to sabotage the peace process,” said Ismatullah in the letter.
