PESHAWAR: A suicide bomber rammed his explosive laden vehicle into a security check-post in North Waziristan tribal region near Afghan border, killing at least three soldiers and injuring seven others, official sources said on Wednesday.

According to initial reports, the blast took place in Shawa area of the tribal agency. The injured were being shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. .

A large number of security personnel rushed to the area and surrounded the blast scene. They said that Mir Ali Tal road was closed for vehicular traffic.

Security forces repeatedly come under attack in the tribal areas, where they have been battling a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan
